“We offer so much technology that students, faculty and staff might not be aware of,” explained Seth McLaughlin, Support Team Lead for UITS on the IU Columbus campus. “This is our chance to showcase what we offer, giving our campus community an opportunity to ask questions and learn about all the IT tools and resources available to them.”
In addition to informational booths and demos, there will be popcorn and cool swag. Those who complete a punch card will be rewarded with a free Tech Fair t-shirt, while supplies last.
Attendees will find:
- Digital Gardner representatives, including information on the Media Launchpad video equipment and resources
- Sign-ups for Esports and gaming clubs at IU Columbus
- Campus 3D printing info
- Assistive technology available at IU
- CrimsonCard vendors
- Representatives from One.IU, eTexts, IT Training, IUanyWare, and others
- IU and local tech vendors
- Training information for faculty interested in using innovative technology in the classroom and on Canvas
