Duo will soon require a 3-digit code
On February 13, IU will enable Duo Verified Push for IU Login and many other apps. This added security measure has the option to remember a trusted device for 30 days. When you log in, you will see a three-digit number to enter into the Duo Mobile app to approve the push.

Apply for student supercomputing fellowship
This advanced cyberinfrastructure (ACI) program is an opportunity for undergrad and grad students to gain the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to leverage ACI in their existing research projects. The program includes project consulting, networking opportunities, and a $1,000 stipend. UITS Research Technologies will accept up to ten student fellows.

Your job offer might be a scam. Criminals are targeting college students with fake job offers that aim to steal money or personal information. Do not respond to anything you suspect to be fraudulent, instead report it to phishing@iu.edu.
Women & Tech Summit proposals due next week
Submit your summit proposal for our 10th Annual Women & Technology Summit by January 16, 2024. Summit breakout sessions are designed to accommodate various formats, including interactive workshops, panel discussions, training sessions, information sharing, and more.

Earn a stipend to learn about teaching with IU’s supercomputers
This advanced cyberinfrastructure (ACI) program is an opportunity for faculty to learn to integrate advanced cyberinfrastructure tools into their curriculum and work with students. The program includes one-on-one consultations to develop educational materials for fall 2024 and a $2,000 stipend.
UITS Research Technologies will accept up to five faculty fellows.

Although the use of mobile devices has fostered increased convenience and productivity, the information stored on and accessed from them are at a greater risk of inappropriate exposure due to loss or theft. Therefore, IU policy states you must secure any device used to access, store, or manipulate institutional data.
