Award: Honorary Doctorate from The American University of Paris

Congratulations to Dr. Nnaemeka who will receive an honorary doctorate from The American University of Paris (AUP). She will be honored during AUP’s commencement ceremony in May of 2022.

AUP’s President, Dr. Celeste Schenck, said it best in her award letter to Dr. Nnaemeka. Her work represents “…the best of liberal arts inquiry and a steadfast commitment to translating scholarship into civic engagement…”

It is a well-earned and deserved honor.

Obioma G. Nnaemeka is Chancellor’s Professor of French in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, IU School of Liberal Arts at IU Indianapolis
