Dr. Rachel Wheeler, Chair of the Department of Religous Studies at IU Indianapolis published and excellent and timely opinion piece in Inside Higher Ed, titled: A Cure for Humanities Deficiency Syndrome. She eloquently lays out a strong argument against the logic that has led to many universities across the country cutting Humanities programs.
