A $2.6 million Explore, Engage and Experience grant from the Indiana Department of Education will fuel expansion of the Informatics Diversity-Enhanced Workforce curriculum for elementary, middle and high school students.

iDEW is a collaboration between Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering in Indianapolis and TechPoint Foundation for Youth. The iDEW program, which saw its first cohort of students graduate college last year, prepares underrepresented minority and economically disadvantaged high school students in Indiana for informatics and computing careers.
