High school students, as well as adult learners and transfer students, have several opportunities to learn about Indiana University Columbus in the coming months.

In-person “Get to Know IU Columbus” events on Oct. 24, Nov. 2, Nov. 10, and Dec. 5 will detail the admissions process, IU Columbus degrees and programs, scholarship opportunities, and include a tour of the campus.

Our incoming 2024 class will make history as the first to enroll under the ‘IU Columbus’ banner—while at the same time, attending a campus center that’s been integral to this community for more than 50 years.

Jayne Morris, Assistant Director of Enrollment Management.

“We encourage residents of Bartholomew County and surrounding areas to learn more about what we offer: a local, affordable, individualized path to earning an Indiana University degree,” Morris added. “Students who choose IU Columbus get individual attention and small class sizes, with an affordable path to a college degree.”

Each of the upcoming events is free and open to prospective students and their families. To get more details, register for one of the sessions, or apply to IU Columbus for free, visit columbus.iu.edu/admissions.

Interested students are also welcome to set up a one-on-one meeting with an IUC admissions counselor at (812)348-7390 or columbus.iu.edu/admissions.

In the spring, IU Columbus plans to have additional admissions events, including sessions targeted for high school juniors, for admitted students, those interested in certain majors, and a Spanish-language event.
