Each fall, the Indianapolis Zoo gets a not-so-scary makeover. Trick-or-Treat stations, pumpkin games, a mirror maze and more.

2. Celebrate local harvests | Now Nov. 2

From apple cider tasting and pumpkin patches, fall festivals like  Harvest Nights at Newfields highlight Indy’s seasonal flavors and artistic side.

 3. Corn maze at Conner Prairie | Now Oct. 26

Conner Prairie offers a variety of corn mazes from a short family-friendly route to a longer challenging trail and a spooky haunted maze open during Headless Horseman nights.

 4. Discover Irvington’s Halloween spirit | Oct. 18 25

The Historic Irvington Halloween Festival is a weeklong tradition featuring a street fair, parade and plenty of live music. The neighborhood’s old-world charm adds to the spooky atmosphere.
