
The annual Give Kids a Smile event, hosted by the Indiana University Northwest Dental Hygiene Program in partnership with the American Dental Association will be providing free dental exams, dental cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments and oral hygiene instructions to children 5-12 years old who do not have dental insurance.
The event will be hosted at IU Northwest in the Dunes Medical/Professional Building on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Space is limited so, if interested, please get in touch with the IU Northwest Dental Clinic at 219-980-6772 to schedule an appointment. Mention “Give Kids a Smile” when calling. Walk-ins are not allowed.
Dental hygiene students from IU Northwest will provide care with a licensed dentist and two dental hygienists. Last year, IU Northwest students helped 21 children by donating more than $1,300 in dental services.
