A well-deserved round of applause goes to the team at the Student Health Center, which has been awarded another three years of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Earning this distinction requires compliance with nearly 600 individual standards for care and operations. The on-site AAAHC survey noted zero deficiencies and full compliance with each standard.
“As an accredited organization, we undergo a survey every three years. However, it’s important to note that maintaining the required quality and standards is an ongoing, everyday responsibility and not just something we prepare for during the survey period,” said Tamir Hussain, director of operations, Student Health Center.
